Mrs. Hogan joined MedDevelopment in 2025 following more than two decades with Turner Construction. During her tenure, she advanced through a series of key leadership roles—including Engineer, Superintendent, Senior Project Manager, Preconstruction Manager, Vice President and General Manager of the Kansas City office, and ultimately Vice President/Construction Executive at the regional level. In that capacity, she was responsible for more than $2 billion in active data center construction projects and provided executive oversight for an additional $10 billion in preconstruction and startup efforts across the Upper Midwest region.

With over 22 years of experience in the construction industry, Karen brings a builder’s perspective to the owner’s side of the table. She is known for her hands-on leadership, ability to navigate complex projects, and commitment to delivering results. Her deep knowledge of the Kansas City AEC community and healthcare construction makes her an invaluable partner in bringing projects from concept to completion

Karen earned her BS in Engineering from the Missouri Institute of Science & Technology, and serves on the Chamber and Executive Board for City of Olathe, KS.
